OVERVIEW

The Advanced Workshop On Strategic Missions has been developed to assist you and your team to be strategic and effective in targeting with a global perspective, and holistic and efficient in your efforts to reach out to the lost and disciple the nations.

In this 6-week intensive course, we will facilitate your mind to be sharpened with strategic thinking, your hands to be equipped with proven tools to make disciples and multiply your ministries, and your team to bring transformational development to local communities where you serve. 

This course is the first half of the School Of Strategic Missions lecture phase and if you continue on to the second module of the SOSM you will complete the lecture phase of the SOSM.

Course Details

PREREQUISIT: The AWOSM is a University of the Nations course for DTS graduates in YWAM. However, it may be open to local church or ministry leaders from outside YWAM as a non-credited course and they may not continue to do the SOSM.

Application Process

Step 1: Application Form

You will need 40 min minimum to fill out this form. This will require your personal details as well as church affiliation details, including a digital copy of your passport and portrait photo. Please make sure you have these details before you start the application as you may not be able to save or return to the progress of your application.
In case you have difficulty filling the online application form, you may use the PDF application form below and email it to [email protected]. It is a fillable PDF form so you can either fill it on a computer or a phone and save it as a PDF, or print it out and fill it by hand. 

Step 2: Application Fee

With your application, please pay a non-refundable fee of $20 to cover the cost of processing your application.

Step 3: References

The reference form can by filled by either your current ministry leader, DTS leader, pastor, employer, teacher, or mature Christian friend. Only two references are required for this workshop. ​​Please download the following forms and have the completed forms sent to: [email protected]. They are fillable PDF forms so you can either type in on a computer and print it out, or print it out first and fill it by hand. 
The medical report form is part to be completed by you and part by your doctor. Please note that if you are already in Rwanda, you are exempt from it. ​

Step 3: Background Check

You need to obtain and email us at [email protected] a digital copy of your Background Check Certificate/Criminal Records from your home country or the country where you've been most recently residing AND bring the original copy with you when you come to the school. This is a legal requirement for your various activities with YWAM during your school.
